What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of inner absorption, concentration and focused attention. From stopping smoking to pain control, anxiety or something as simple as nail biting, knowing the art of Self It is a very good skill to have. It is a state of concentrated, focused attention. But the actual state of It is a little harder to define. It is a state of mind characterized by an extreme concentration of attention. It is well established to be a fact that It is useful for creating anesthesia. The use of It is sweeping the nation. It is not a stereotyped “relaxation programme” but is tailored individually. It is not well understood by the general public. It is a totally natural state of mind. Conversational It is a term used by Ericksonian hypnotherapists to create a trance using embedded words in the verbal text.

Hypnosis Is Also A Tool For Healing. Most hypnotherapists, on interviewing a new client, will ask the client what he or she thinks It is. It is a means of getting into the subliminal state of a person. All It is self-It; the hypnotherapist is only the guide. Sleep, however, has nothing to do with what It is. It is a natural state akin to night time dreaming, which happens during the Rapid Eye Movement phase of sleep, otherwise known as REM.


Hypnosis is neither mystical or magical. What exactly It is. It is simply accessing the door to the subconscious mind through imagery and relaxation. It is a natural mental state. Today It is still used by doctors and dentists as an aid for pain control. It is a great way to enjoy yourself. What It is not: Sleep. It is an attractive solution because its main principle is focused relaxation. But many people don’t really understand what It is all about. It is a safe, natural, and easy way to make the changes you desire. When It is combined with therapeutic techniques it becomes extraordinarily useful and able to achieve excellent results. It is a state during which the subconscious mind is open to suggestion to create positive change - a state of heightened suggestibility, so to speak. It is a process used to access the sub-conscious mind.

Hypnosis is not a stereotyped “relaxation programme” but is tailored individually. Of course, It is most effective when the client or patient is motivated to change. It is a SAFE,natural response which. Find out if It is right for you.
